TICKETS WILL GO ON SALE ON

FEBRUARY 14, 2026

When and where is the event?

The Venetian Ball Auction and Dinner Dance will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Marin Center Exhibit Hall, which will be beautifully transformed into A Night in Venice.

When do tickets go on sale, and what types are available?

Tickets will go on sale on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Our goal each year is to keep pricing as accessible as possible, thanks in large part to the generous support of our Grand Sponsors, whose contributions help underwrite event costs. Ticket prices are being finalized and will be announced in January 2026.

There are three ticket options:

Tables

General seating seats ten guests per table

Premier tables are reserved for Grand Sponsors and Event Sponsors.

Sponsorship opportunities may be reserved starting in January 2026.

Couples’ Tickets

Includes two tickets for members of the same household.

Individual Tickets

Purchase one or more tickets and note your seating preferences such as requests to be placed with friends and family (please see “Seating Requests” below).

Does this event sell out?

Yes, we anticipate that the Auction will sell out as this is Marin Catholic’s largest fundraising event of the year, welcoming over 450 guests. While the Marin Center Exhibit Hall offers generous space, seating remains limited due to staging and event layout. We recommend purchasing tickets early, as this event typically sells out.

We're a new family and don't know many people. Will we feel comfortable attending this event?

Absolutely! The Auction is a welcoming community event, bringing together parents from all grade levels to celebrate and connect. Many families attend for the first time each year, and it’s a wonderful way to meet others and feel part of the MC community.

If you don’t specify a seating group, we’ll seat you with families from your student’s grade level, so you’ll be surrounded by familiar faces in no time!

What should I wear?

The Venetian Ball is an elegant, dressy, and festive evening.  Enjoy dressing up and celebrating in style!

Ladies: Wear cocktail, formal, or evening-appropriate attire (dress, gown, or stylish separates).

Gentlemen: Wear a suit or sport coat; black tie is optional.

Do Students participate in this event?

Past participation has traditionally included the student House Band, who headline the evening, cast members of the Spring Musical performing a skit or song, ASB student leaders, and the talented cheer team.

The Senior class may participate in the traditional closing scene, a special part of the event that highlights the senior formal experience. If senior girls choose to participate, their dresses become part of the Princess Project, an opportunity to give back to the broader community. More details about participation will be shared with seniors after Christmas break.

How can I get the best seats?

Premier seating is reserved for event sponsors, with tables positioned around the stage and in central viewing areas. All other seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis according to ticket purchase date.

How can I sit with my family and friends?

To guarantee you are seated together, the best option is to purchase a full table.

If purchasing individual tickets, please use a Seating Group Name when placing your order and ensure everyone in your group uses the exact same name.

For smaller groups (1–2 extra guests), you may use another attendee’s full name as your group name.

Be consistent with spelling and punctuation to ensure accurate placement.

If no Seating Group Name is provided, we’ll do our best to seat you with others from your student’s grade level.

Guests purchasing tables or multiple tickets should be ready to provide guest names and meal selections, if available.
